NPR Music has a great show by Punch Brothers up for streaming and download at their site.

It’s really cool to hear the music from their latest album, Antifogmatic, live. Especially how naked they leave the songs. At times it’s just a simple pulse kept on muted mandolin strings with the slightest hinting at chords from the violin while Chris Thile is singing, and it works remarkably well.

I had never actually noticed the download link on NPR Music shows before. I see now it’s not on all of them but I wonder how long it’s been there. Probably forever but the link is tiny. The download is only a 128kbit/s MP3 but still good of them to provide a download. The world is moving forward.
