Cats & Dogs

<img src="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/209/492410644_d6d1d636df_m.jpg" style="float:right;" alt="Cabotine" />Reading Mark Pilgrims how-to on dog medication reminds me of how we tried the same with a cat we had. She, being a cat, was smart enough to eat around the treat and leave the actual medicin untouched. Not that I'm saying cats are smarter than dogs or anything. No sir.

(it's just that the cat was clever enough to not even eat the treat if we ground the medicin to powder and mixed it with something)

Firefox Add-on idea #242

It'd be really handy sometimes to split the view on the page you're currently reading in two (or more) separate panes, similar to the split in the text editor gvim:

I found Split Pannel but it only splits in two panes side-by-side, not top-bottom like in the screenshot above, and search only works in the original pane. The split would be really handy for long blog comment threads for reading up on posts referenced without losing your place.
